About Us

David Wilson doors make custom, handmade, 5 piece mortice and tenon MDF doors, made individually to each customer’s requirements in their chosen design and the exact size they require.

We are a family owned small company that puts the customer at the heart of everything we do. Because we don’t have the large overheads and workforce that larger companies require we can pass the savings directly over to you.

Our bespoke, primed and sanded wardrobe and kitchen cabinet doors allow you to hand paint the final finish in the colour of your choice, offering an infinite number of possibilities and allowing every single customer to indulge in having exactly what they want. If that’s not your thing we are able to fully finish the doors to your specification using professional spray finishes to any colour or sheen you require.

With our ability to make bespoke sizes, we are able to make the exact size of door you need at NO additional premium to a standard sized door. Why? Because every single door is made to order by hand, by our skilled craftsmen, so the price is the same, regardless of the size, it’s that simple. We take great pride in all of our doors and we are sure you will too.

Supporting The Community

As the co-founder of David Wilson doors is a member of Derby Mountain Rescue team in order to try and support the good work they do there is a charity support section on this website.

It is really important to support local charities and Derby Mountain Rescue is a key part of both the local community and the peak district as a whole. There are significant costs to keep them going as there is no government funding and they are entirely dependant on donations.

Any donations are appreciated please use the link at the bottom of this website to donate directly. Please ask if you would like any more information or visit their website
